I have just about every version of Raspberry Pi, but until only recently acquired an R4 thanks to the WLAN Pro conference. (along with 2x 6e adapters). I had always wanted an upgrade, but had been rocking the “original” Neo2 WLAN Pi which was really handy for basic application/testing/file hosting.

The nice thing about the pre-built packages or kits is that you get the buttons, screen, and purpose built case all ready to go. Just like the first WLAN Pi, a lot of function is at the ready without having to SSH to the unit, if you pick the appropriate option with the button navigation.

https://www.wlanpi.com

I would have thought adding a Wi-Fi 7 adapter might work transparently, but it appears the kernel doesn’t have the appropriate drivers.
